Hi From BA21?

Hi! My name is Cameron. I’m the sole proprietor of BA21 Web & Media Publishing. My position in the company is written on the card as Creative Director. This is a combination of project manager, and client relations.

My background is in Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics. I enjoy patterns and color. Writing was never a big interest, but I read quite avidly. Fundamental sciences, esoteric philosophy, spirituality, and other big picture stuff also interest me.

Coming from engineering, I love building stuff and taking things apart. The web is full of this activity. Every day something either needs to be built or taken apart—and in between there’s color and patterns. So it’s turned out to be a good match for me, and people say I’m rather passionate about doing a good job of it.

For fun, I enjoy long-distance hiking, ultimate frisbee, and chess (although I’ve no one to play currently). In college I captained the soccer team. You can learn more about me from my photos or by visiting my blog.

Your Message first.

Confusion reigns in today’s society. Information in the new economy is growing exponentially, and material consumption is being replaced by information consumption. On the web it’s multiplied. People are trained to look for a core message. We don’t distract them from it; your message first.

Respect People’s time.

Especially on the web, your time is the new commodity. We realize how important your time is. We also realize how important your customer’s time is. Your message needs to be readily visible, and fast. We respect people’s time, *and they will respect your message.

Presentation counts.

First impressions are the name of the game. On the web, in print, and in video, even if your message is quick and clear, if it’s not clean it won’t be effective. A clean, elegant, uncluttered website get’s and keeps more readers. Presentation is everything.
